Ayam lodho merupakan salah satu makanan asal Tulungagung yang berupa olahan daging ayam yaitu ayam kampung yang dibumbui dengan berbagai rempah-rempah dan santan. Makanan ini sangat terkenal di daerah sekitar Tulungagung termasuk Trenggalek, Kediri dan Blitar. Namun, makanan ini tak jarang dijumpai di daerah Jawa Timur. Tulungagung sendiri merupakan kabupaten yang terletak di daerah selatan Provinsi Jawa Timur yaitu sekitar 154 km dari Surabaya. Tulungagung terkenal akan produksi marmer, potensi wisata dan kulinernya. Ayam lodho sebagai warisan menu dari berbagai generasi terutama oleh orang lanjut usia masih dipertahankan dengan baik resep aslinya, yaitu kombinasi rempah-rempah yang sulit ditiru daerah lain. Ayam lodho ini merupakan menu tradisional Tulungagung yang menjadi menu yang kerap ada di setiap acara seperti selamatan, acara keluarga, hari-hari peringatan, dan acara penting lainnya.
