TVXQ dan JYJ, keduanya menunjukkan popularitas mereka yang tak pernah mati.


Album baru Jepang TVXQ ‘TONE’ terjual lebih dari 100.000 kopi di hari pertama perilisan pada 28 September, tanggal yang sama dengan album Korea pertama JYJ yang terjual habis di seluruh wilayah negara tersebut.


Pada 29 September, SM Entertainment menyatakan bahwa TVXQ menempati puncak chart album harian Oricon dengan menjual 105.484 kopi album ‘TONE’ mereka.


Mereka menyatakan, “Ada jarak yang besar dalam penjualan album TVXQ dengan album lain yang dirilis pada tanggal yang sama, jadi kami juga mengharapkan hasil yang baik dari chart mingguan. Dengan album yang dijual di toko-toko terbesar di Jepang, kami sudah menerima banyak permintaan untuk pesanan tambahan.”


TVXQ berencana untuk menjalankan promosi untuk album baru mereka dengan tampil di FujiTV ‘Music Fair’ pada tanggal 1 Oktober, NHK ‘Music Japan’ dan Nihon TV ‘Music Lovers’ pada tanggal 2, dan FujiTV ‘SMAPxSMAP’ pada tanggal 3.

Recently, JYJ’s Jaejoong updated his Twitter with a post that is causing quite the commotion amongst fans of both JYJ and TVXQ.

“I don’t know if I should be saying this… I miss Yunho and Changmin… No matter what anyone says, they’re our members and I know them better than anyone else… People might say it’s pointless in saying this but… I want to see them again. It’s been a while.”

Jaejoong also tweeted the following:

“Junsu always wakes up before the members and gets his hair and make up done before the tired members. He has always been like that for the past eight years. It’s his sincerity that has allowed us to exist, and I hope to learn from him as a friend and co-worker.
